This vacuum quenching furnace is a horizontal single-door industrial equipment. It is heated on all six sides and has multiple layers of stainless steel plates as insulation layers. The furnace body has built-in cooling water channels and inert gas channels.
The wall material of the furnace body is 316L stainless steel with a thickness of 10mm, which has good heat resistance. The heating element is made of graphite or nickel alloy to ensure heating speed and uniformity

Heat treatment process of the vacuum furnace
- Place the metal parts that need to be heat treated in the vacuum furnace, then close the furnace door and lock it, which is a very important step
- According to the process requirements of heat treatment, edit the heat treatment process of the vacuum furnace. If the program has been saved before, you can select that program and click Confirm.
- Check whether the cooling water and inert gas of the gas quenching vacuum furnace are sufficient, and whether each sensor is operating normally.
- The vacuum furnace will heat up according to the set steps. When the temperature and vacuum pressure reach the set requirements, keep it for 30-120 minutes in this case. This is determined according to the size of the part. The main purpose is to heat the entire metal part very evenly
- In the case of high temperature, the interior of the vacuum furnace is filled with nitrogen, allowing the internal temperature to be rapidly cooled to 250-300 °C for a certain period of time, allowing the metal parts to be fully cooled to produce a chemical reaction
- The metal after quenching is relatively fragile. In order to avoid defects such as cracking, it needs to be tempering at this time, and the temperature needs to be reheat to 500-600 °C. The properties of the metal are different, and the temperature may be different. Then keep it for 1-2 hours.
- Some metal parts need to be tempering 2-3 times to fully eliminate the stress inside the metal parts, so that they can maintain sufficient toughness. Then turn off the heating, let the temperature naturally cool to below 200 °C, open the furnace door, take out the metal parts, and the whole quenching process is over here
